About Me
My name is Richard Ohanian, and I love programming. I love working with mixed
media, especially audio editing and interactive media. I think casual game
programming often goes underappreciated, even though everyone plays them. From the
quick little flash animations to the interactive RPGs, from the tic tac toe to the
never ending levels, we all do a little casual gaming from time to time (some more
than others). Sometimes it just helps get us through our day; that little bit of
fun during an otherwise boring job. Sometimes it's a way to wind down the day with
just one last smile. But all of the time, because of people like me, everyone enjoys
casual gaming, and I'm glad to be a part of the creation process.
I am an IT graduate of RIT, located in Rochester, NY. I have a diverse variety
of abilities, all the way from basic HTML and CSS to complex Javascript, Actionscript,
PHP, and SQL. I take Kung Fu at the Duteau Shaolin Kung Fu Wu Su Academy at RIT, and
I am training to become an instructor there. Outside of my work life, I spend time
rollerblading, working with steel, and of course, playing games at the computer. I also
enjoy many different genres of music, my favorites being trance and metal.
