Sites
-Audio Edit Productions
Don Feigel, a coworker of mine at NTID, requested a personal site to be
created that displays his audio and video skills. Mr. Feigel has won many
awards for his abilities, and continues to produce his work while working
in the Educational Design Resources department at NTID, and is available
to be contacted for contracting jobs.
-Duteau Shaolin Kung Fu Wu Su Academy
The Kung Fu class at RIT needed an update to the aging website, and I was
asked to complete this task. The entire site was facelifted, given a new
layout, and filled with updated content. Students can now peruse through
accurate, constantly updated information about the kung fu program at RIT.
-NTID Speech and Language Professionals
This is the largest site I have ever worked on. The client wanted a dynamic
site that was loaded with all sorts of media. There are flash applications,
videos and audio clips, and plenty of content that details the functionality
of the speech and language department at NTID.
-NTID Educational Design Resources
After co oping with the Education Design Resources department at NTID for a year,
they realized my skills in web design and decided to hand their website to me.
Though some of the content is still incomplete, the department is satisfied with
the exciting new look the site has been given.
-Project OPAL
I mentioned to my boss the inefficiency in our methods of scheduling production
assistants, and she wondered if I could program a better application for her.
The application involves PHP, javascript, and database management that allows
everyone a finer control over handling the PA schedule.
-Online ASL Dictionary and Inflection Guide
Geoff Poor, a professor at NTID, came up with the wonderful project of putting
together a "better" dictionary for sign language. Because of the vivid gestural nature
of sign language, intonation and inflection is very often necessary to be viewed, and
cannot be well understood from within an image dictionary. My task was to program the
site using Flash so that the program could be accessed across the internet.
-Cochlear Implants - A Personal Decision
A vast array of interviews about cochlear implants for people who are looking into
getting a cochlear implant themselves. The diversity of the interviewees shows how
the decision was made from many different perspectives. The site itself uses Flash
and Flash streaming video, with dynamic animation tweens and content loading.
